Our Mission
Our mission is to provide high quality early childhood care and education in a language rich, developmentally appropriate environment. Through play, child directed activities, and teacher facilitated learning experiences, children grow to their fullest potential at every stage of development.

A Learning Hub started with a realization. When it comes to Preschool and Early Education, there are mountains of scientific and educational research being ignored. It's critically important to use this research to create a positive framework. To understand the learning habits young children acquire now is to define how they learn for the rest of their lives.

With this realization, the founders knew it was their responsibility to deliver an education that offered more. The "way it's always been done" was no longer sufficient, and A Learning Hub was created.

Mel & Jason
Co-Owners & Co-Founders
Despite her passion for coffee, Melanie hung up her barista apron and set off for her Masters in Applied Behavior Analysis. She discovered her new passion for behavior analysis working in the research labs at Jacksonville State. The power to shape young minds using behavior analysis became very clear to Mel and sparked a lifetime love of changing behavior for the better. Melanie's passion for research continues to this day as she nears obtaining her Ph.D in behavior analysis from Simmons College.

Jason moved to New York City in search of a job within the field of behavior analysis but little did he know he was about to be exposed to a whole different intervention focusing on the power of verbal behavior. With the tools he learned from The Carbone Clinic’s consultants, and the experience he gained overseeing four classrooms at a premiere NYC private school, he brought his extensive experience back to Massachusetts to offer verbal behavior programming to the South Shore.
